mountain area pregnancy center

Mountain Area Pregnancy Services (MAPS), previously Asheville Pregnancy Support Services, provides compassionate care to women and men dealing with issues surrounding an at risk pregnancy. Our client advocates are specially trained to deal with these distinctive problems for those facing this issue at their POINT OF CRISIS. The impact goes beyond just the man and the woman but can extend to family, friends and others. An unplanned pregnancy is often an unwanted pregnancy and those involved may feel as if abortion is the only choice. MAPS exists to provide women and men accurate information on their choices in a compassionate environment.
Our mission is to be a relevant Christ-centered outreach ministry partnering with the churches of WNC by caring for, counseling and educating women and men regarding, or impacted by, and at risk pregnancy.

One More Child

Our mission is to provide Christ-centered services to vulnerable children and struggling families. Our vision is to bring hope to hurting children, to show that the love of Jesus changes lives and to impact the life of one more child. From the opening of our first orphanage in 1904 to our present-day ministries that have expanded around the globe, we are honored to be helping children in tangible ways. Whether it’s providing clean diapers to a newborn baby, food for a hungry child, safety for an abused child, or foster or adoptive homes to children in crisis, we work to share with children who have been abandoned, neglected or abused the healing love of Jesus. As we reflect on all the years we have been able to help children with thankfulness and awe, we look forward to a future filled with hope for every child in need! Will you join the cause and become a part of our mission to help One More Child?

Child Evangelism Fellowship

CEF is a Bible-centered, worldwide organization composed of born-again believers whose purpose is to evangelize children with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and to establish (disciple) them in the Word of God and in a local church for Christian living. CEF wants to reach the children with the Gospel. CEF has more open doors than ever. The times are urgent and the work is vital. We strive to reach 100 million children worldwide each year with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We’re grateful for our heritage over the past 80+ years, but even more excited about what the Lord will do in our future.

The Gideons International

The Gideons International is an Association of Christian business and professional men and their wives dedicated to telling people about Jesus through associating together for service, sharing personal testimony, and by providing Bibles and New Testaments. While we are often recognized for our work with hotels, we also place and distribute Scriptures in strategic locations so they are available to those who want them, as well as to those who may not know they need them.

let's change the world!

How can I change the world?

Change the World in 3 Ways:
1. If you want to change the world you start by changing your world! When your life is forever changed the world is forever changed!

How can I change my world? By giving your life to something/someone greater than yourself! Jesus wants to have a lasting relationship with you. Have you ever invited Jesus in your life?

2. If you want to change the world, sign up to serve at your local church. No matter where you live we encourage you to get connected to a Christ-centered, Bible-believing church in your area where you can pour into the lives of those in your community. The Christ-centered local church is the hope of the world as it points people to a saving relationship with Jesus Christ.

If you live within driving distance of Radiant Church consider this an invitation to join our team of world changers if you don’t currently have a home church!

3. If you want to change the world join us in supporting these non-profit organizations who are making a difference in the lives of others. We have picked these organizations for their impact with touching the lives of others through the following ways: Gospel ministry that is changing lives for eternity, humanitarian help that is meeting the physical needs of the needy in our community, and overall impact upon the lives of others by guiding them to a saving relationship with Jesus Christ!
